Our Directors
Mark McNamara
With over 30 years’ experience covering strategic marketing, creative design and advertising, working on both the client and supplier side, Mark has a unique insight into how agencies and clients can best work together to deliver the highest quality communication for their brands and products.
Mark began his career in R&D for Reckitt Benckiser (Samuel Taylor) and gained unparalleled experience in both product development and consumer marketing and, in particular, a deep understanding of pest control.
On completion of his MBA Mark moved into marketing and excelled as the Global Marketing Manager for the iconic Mortein brand. Responsible for innovation and communication, Mark forged a strong track record in developing and growing brands through the continuous launching of new products, as well as the consistency of brand and product advertising.
More recently Mark has been able to apply his entrepreneurial skills as a business manager with a boutique design agency and worked with both multinationals and small local business’ to provide high quality design solutions for pack design, point of sale, digital and print advertising across a diverse range of industries and brands.
Mark brings to Metamorph Creative a deep understanding and vast knowledge base of strategic marketing through to the development and execution of creative communications.
Outside of work Mark is an avid fan of AFL particularly his beloved Sydney Swans. He has developed a passion for international travel and year-round cycling and works hard to combine these two passions.
Phil Ridley
Phil Ridley has over 20 years experience in the Pest Control industry, covering a number of technical and marketing roles.
After completing his PhD on “The foraging behaviour of leaf-cutting ants” at the University of Southampton in the UK, Phil joined Pedigree Petfoods (Mars Group) where he held roles in R&D and process development.
But the call of the insect world proved too great and he moved to Australia to work at Reckitt Benckiser on the Mortein pest control brand. At Reckitt Benckiser he held various local and global marketing roles supporting the pest control category.
Following his time at Reckitt Benckiser, Phil joined DuPont to set up their Professional Products business in Asia Pacific, launching a portfolio of professional pest and turf management products into a number of countries across the region.
Seven years ago Phil set up his own marketing business, Bug Doctor Media, a niche marketing agency providing full marketing support to pest control companies. He also runs BD Publications, who publish Professional Pest Manager magazine.
His unique combination of marketing and technical knowledge, coupled with his industry understanding, allows Metamorph Creative to develop insightful creative and easily understood content that meets the needs of client and customer alike.
Outside the business Phil loves to travel and likes watching and playing a wide range of sports – a jack of all, master of none! Favorite sporting team (harking back to his UK roots) – Liverpool FC. YNWA!
