Actually a detailed brief doesn’t guarantee success. A detailed brief will only deliver if the background analysis is thorough and the overall strategy sound and documented. However, many businesses want to jump straight to solutions without really doing the vital upfront analysis which will lead to the development of a solid strategy. Without this analysis and subsequent strategy development, it’s often hard to determine if your advertising is actually working. This uncertainty further feeds into a lack of understanding and a lack of confidence on the right way forward.
